Returns & Refunds Policy – Amivono
This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how return requests, exchanges, damaged-item reports, refunds, and non-returnable products are handled by Amivono. It applies to purchases of automotive, marine, powersports, and workshop products, including JDM engines, crate engines, transmissions, outboard motors, Polaris parts, welding machines, accessories, and replacement parts.
Because many Amivono products are large, technical, model-specific, used, refurbished, special-order, or shipped internationally, return eligibility may vary by product. The product page, invoice, checkout terms, shipping policy, warranty terms, and applicable law may provide additional conditions.
1. Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 30 days after delivery if the item is eligible for return and meets the conditions below.
To be eligible, the item must:
- Be unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in the same condition in which it was received
- Be returned with all original packaging, manuals, labels, accessories, fittings, hardware, and included components
- Be free from damage caused after delivery
- Include the receipt, order confirmation, invoice, or other proof of purchase
- Have prior written return authorization from Amivono
Do not send an item back without first contacting Amivono and receiving return instructions. Unauthorised returns may be refused, delayed, or returned to the sender at the sender’s cost.
2. How to Request a Return
To start a return request, contact Amivono using the customer-support email address listed on our website.
Please include:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Product name and item details
- Reason for the return
- Clear photos or videos of the item and its packaging
- Proof of purchase
- Serial number, part number, or engine number where applicable
If your request is accepted, we will provide return instructions, including the return address and any required return authorization details. Do not ship an item to a manufacturer, supplier, warehouse, or other address unless Amivono has instructed you to do so in writing.
3. Products That May Not Be Returnable
The following products may be non-returnable, returnable only under limited conditions, or subject to additional approval:
- Installed, used, altered, tuned, programmed, or modified products
- JDM engines, crate engines, transmissions, outboard motors, and other major mechanical assemblies that have been installed, started, operated, or dismantled after delivery
- Electrical or electronic parts, including ECUs, sensors, wiring, modules, switches, and electronic accessories, once opened, installed, connected, or programmed
- Special-order, custom, personalized, made-to-order, or supplier-direct products
- Products sold as “as-is,” “for parts,” “repairable,” clearance, final sale, or without return eligibility
- Fluids, lubricants, fuel-related items, hazardous materials, flammable products, batteries, gases, and other regulated goods
- Opened consumable products, including welding consumables, filters, seals, gaskets, plugs, oils, chemicals, and similar service items
- Gift cards, digital products, downloadable products, and promotional items
- Products returned incomplete, damaged, improperly packed, or missing original parts, accessories, packaging, or documentation
If an item is eligible for a return, this does not automatically mean it is eligible for a full refund. The condition of the returned item will be inspected before a refund, replacement, credit, or other remedy is approved.
4. Engines, Transmissions, and Outboard Motors
Due to their value, technical nature, installation requirements, and shipping complexity, engines, transmissions, outboard motors, and major mechanical assemblies require special handling.
Before ordering, customers are responsible for confirming:
- Correct model, fitment, compatibility, and technical specifications
- Product condition, included accessories, and exclusions
- Shipping requirements, delivery access, and destination restrictions
- Whether professional installation, programming, tuning, break-in, or inspection is required
A return request for an engine, transmission, outboard motor, or similar major assembly must be made before installation, use, modification, or dismantling, unless the request concerns a verified shipping error, delivery damage, or a covered defect under the applicable written warranty.
Amivono may require photographic evidence, serial-number verification, an inspection, diagnostic documentation, or supplier authorization before approving a return or warranty-related claim.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect all items immediately upon delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from the item ordered, contact Amivono as soon as possible. Include your order number and clear photos or videos showing:
- The product
- The reported issue
- Packaging and shipping labels
- Any visible delivery damage
- Serial number, part number, or product label where relevant
Keep the product, shipping carton, packing material, labels, and all included parts until we provide written instructions. This information may be required for a shipping-carrier, supplier, insurance, or warranty claim.
Do not discard damaged packaging, repair the item, install the item, or return it without prior written authorization, unless required by applicable law or necessary to prevent immediate further damage.
6. Exchanges
The quickest way to obtain a different product is generally to request return authorization for the original eligible item and place a separate order for the replacement item.
Direct exchanges are subject to stock availability, the product’s return eligibility, price differences, shipping costs, and approval by Amivono. If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will review the situation and advise on the appropriate remedy.
7. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to a verified Amivono error, incorrect shipment, or eligible transit damage, customers are responsible for return shipping, insurance, customs fees, taxes, duties, and related costs.
For large or high-value products—including engines, transmissions, and outboard motors—return shipping may require freight service, secure crating, insurance, and tracking. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the item is packaged safely and adequately for return transport.
Original shipping, delivery, handling, export, customs, and import charges are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law or expressly confirmed by Amivono in writing.
We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method for all returns. Amivono is not responsible for return packages lost, delayed, damaged, or undelivered while in transit to us.
8. Inspection and Refunds
Once a return is received, it will be inspected to confirm that it meets the approved return conditions. We will notify you of the outcome after the inspection is completed.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times can vary depending on the payment provider, bank, currency, location, and payment method.
A refund may be reduced or denied if the item:
- Was used, installed, modified, damaged, or returned in a condition different from when delivered
- Is missing packaging, accessories, manuals, parts, labels, hardware, or documentation
- Was returned without authorization
- Is returned after the applicable return period
- Is non-returnable under this policy or the specific product listing
- Has incurred approved restocking, repackaging, inspection, or return-shipping charges, where disclosed and permitted by law
If a restocking fee applies, the amount and conditions should be shown on the product page, invoice, or return authorization before the return is sent.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have received confirmation that a refund was issued but do not see it in your account:
- Check your bank account and payment method again
- Contact your card issuer, payment provider, or bank
- Allow time for the provider’s processing and posting period
- Contact Amivono if the refund remains missing after you have confirmed with your payment provider
When contacting us, include your order number and refund confirmation details.
10. Consumer Rights
This policy does not exclude or limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection laws. Depending on your location, you may have statutory rights relating to faulty goods, incorrect goods, cancelled orders, or refunds.
Where a product-specific policy, written warranty, invoice term, or mandatory law gives you greater rights than this policy, that applicable term or law will apply.
