Warranty & Claims – Amivono
Protecting Your Purchase
At Amivono, we supply automotive, marine, powersports, and workshop products, including JDM engines, crate engines, transmissions, outboard motors, Polaris parts, welding machines, vehicle accessories, and replacement components.
This page explains our general warranty and claims process, including eligibility, product coverage, customer responsibilities, and exclusions. Warranty terms can differ by manufacturer, supplier, product condition, and the specific item purchased. Always review the warranty information shown on the relevant product page, invoice, and any manufacturer documents supplied with your order.
For warranty or claims support, contact us through the contact details displayed on our website and include your order number, product information, and a clear description of the issue.
Important: Do not publish warranty periods, return windows, or coverage promises that you cannot consistently honor. Exact terms must match the product page, checkout information, invoice, and applicable law.
1. Warranty Coverage
Warranty coverage varies depending on whether the product is new, used, refurbished, remanufactured, or sold as parts/repair. The warranty period, covered components, claim procedure, and exclusions for each item will be stated on the applicable product listing or provided at the time of purchase.
Outboard Motors
New outboard motors may be covered by a manufacturer warranty where offered by the brand and where the product is eligible for registration in the customer’s country or region. Coverage length and terms depend on the manufacturer, model, intended use, and registration requirements.
Used or refurbished outboard motors may carry a limited Amivono or supplier warranty only where explicitly stated on the product page or invoice. Unless expressly stated otherwise, routine servicing, normal wear items, installation, transport, and labour costs are not included.
Commercial, rental, racing, competition, or other heavy-duty use may have different or reduced warranty coverage compared with private or recreational use.
Engines and Transmissions
JDM engines, crate engines, replacement engines, and transmissions are covered only according to the warranty terms listed on the individual product page or invoice.
Where a limited warranty applies, it generally covers verified internal mechanical defects present at the time of delivery, subject to inspection and the stated conditions. External components and accessories supplied with an engine or transmission may not be included in the same coverage unless specifically listed.
Examples of items that may be excluded unless clearly stated otherwise include:
- Sensors, wiring, ECUs, alternators, starters, injectors, turbochargers, pumps, belts, hoses, filters, fluids, and gaskets
- Labour, diagnostics, removal, installation, tuning, programming, shipping, customs charges, or related vehicle repairs
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, overheating, lack of lubrication, detonation, contamination, modification, or misuse
Polaris Parts and Accessories
Polaris parts, accessories, and compatible replacement components may have manufacturer or supplier coverage where stated. Fitment must be verified by the customer before purchase using the item description, part number, model year, and vehicle specifications.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect fitment, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, off-road competition use, normal wear, accidents, or failure to follow manufacturer service requirements.
Welding Machines and Workshop Equipment
Welding machines and workshop equipment may include a manufacturer or supplier warranty if stated in the listing. Coverage normally applies to manufacturing defects during the stated period and does not cover consumables, misuse, improper electrical connection, unauthorized repair, accidental damage, or use outside the product’s rated capacity.
2. Warranty Registration
Some new products, particularly outboard motors and selected equipment, may need to be registered with the manufacturer to activate warranty coverage.
Where registration is required:
- Registration may be completed by Amivono, an authorized dealer, or the customer, depending on the product and manufacturer.
- Customers may need to provide purchase details, serial numbers, location, ownership details, and proof of purchase.
- Warranty eligibility may depend on purchase from an authorized distribution channel and registration within the manufacturer’s required period.
- Manufacturer warranty availability can vary by destination country or region.
Keep your invoice, warranty card or certificate, serial number, product documentation, and maintenance records in a safe place.
3. How to Submit a Claim
To request warranty support or report an issue, contact Amivono promptly after discovering the problem. Do not dismantle, repair, modify, return, or send the item to a third party before receiving written instructions, except where immediate action is necessary to prevent further damage or is required by law.
Please provide:
- Your full name and order number
- Product name, serial number, part number, or VIN compatibility details where applicable
- Purchase date and proof of purchase
- A detailed description of the issue
- Clear photos and videos showing the reported fault
- Installation, diagnostic, maintenance, and service records if relevant
- Details of any repair, modification, or third-party inspection already completed
We may request further documentation, troubleshooting steps, an inspection by an authorized technician, or return of the product for assessment. Approval of a claim is not automatic and depends on verification under the applicable warranty terms.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To remain eligible for any applicable warranty, customers must:
- Read and follow the product manual, installation instructions, and operating limits
- Ensure correct professional installation where required
- Confirm compatibility before ordering and before installation
- Use suitable fluids, lubricants, fuel, electrical supply, and manufacturer-approved components
- Complete recommended maintenance and retain service records
- Inspect the product on delivery and report visible damage or incorrect items as soon as possible
- Stop using the product if continued operation may cause further damage
- Provide reasonable access to information, inspection, and troubleshooting required to assess a claim
For engines, transmissions, outboard motors, and powersports parts, improper installation or failure to follow required break-in, tuning, cooling, lubrication, and maintenance procedures can affect warranty eligibility.
5. Warranty Exclusions
Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranties do not cover:
- Normal wear and maintenance items, including filters, spark plugs, fluids, belts, hoses, seals, gaskets, batteries, anodes, propellers, impellers, electrodes, nozzles, tips, and similar consumables
- Cosmetic damage, corrosion, rust, fading, marine growth, or deterioration caused by storage or environmental conditions
- Damage caused by accidents, collisions, water ingress, fire, theft, transport damage after delivery, flooding, submersion, or external impact
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, racing, competition, commercial use where not approved, overloading, incorrect voltage, incorrect fuel, overheating, inadequate lubrication, or contaminated fuel or fluids
- Damage resulting from unauthorized modification, tuning, repair, disassembly, or installation
- Labour, transport, recovery, towing, storage, removal, reinstallation, diagnostics, customs duties, taxes, or indirect costs unless explicitly agreed in writing
- Loss of use, loss of income, business interruption, rental costs, or consequential losses, to the extent permitted by applicable law
- Products sold as “as-is,” “for parts,” “repairable,” or without warranty, unless a written warranty is expressly provided
6. Shipping Damage and Incorrect Items
Please inspect your package and product immediately upon delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, notify Amivono as soon as possible and retain all original packaging, labels, photographs, and delivery documents. Do not discard packaging or return the item without written instructions, as this may be needed for carrier, supplier, or insurance claims.
Shipping damage claims may be subject to carrier reporting deadlines. Reporting an issue quickly helps us assess and resolve the matter more effectively.
7. Repairs, Replacements, and Refunds
If a warranty claim is approved, the available remedy will depend on the warranty terms, product condition, supplier requirements, and applicable consumer law. Where applicable, Amivono or the relevant supplier may choose to:
- Repair the item or arrange inspection and repair
- Supply a replacement part or equivalent product
- Provide a partial refund or store credit where appropriate
- Issue a refund where required by the applicable terms or law
Any approved repair, replacement, refund, or credit will be handled according to the specific warranty terms and does not extend coverage beyond the original warranty period unless stated otherwise in writing.
8. Legal Rights and Contact
This policy is intended as a general guide and does not remove rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection laws. Manufacturer warranties are separate from, and may be subject to, their own registration, service-center, territory, and documentation requirements.
For warranty assistance, contact Amivono through the email address or contact form displayed on our website. Include your order number, product details, and supporting photos or videos so we can begin reviewing your request.
Accurate business identity, product details, and clearly disclosed policies help customers make informed buying decisions and are important for Merchant Center compliance.
