Kiross ZTR42E 42″ Zero Turn Mower

The Kiross ZTR42E 42” Zero Turn Mower is an excellent entry-level zero-turn option packed with premium features at an unbeatable price—ideal for UK homeowners with medium to large gardens (up to 2 acres), regular lawn maintenance, and smooth, efficient mowing without the need for heavy commercial duty.

At Kiross Turfcare, we prove that entry-level doesn’t mean basic. The ZTR42E delivers high-end touches like a Hydro-Gear ZT-2200 hydrostatic transmission and an oversized 25-litre fuel tank (double most competitors) for longer runtime, all at a fraction of the cost of similar branded kits.

Powered by a reliable Loncin LC2P73F V-Twin engine (17 HP, 37 Nm torque, 586 cc), it offers field-proven performance trusted by pros—smooth power for well-maintained lawns, quick starts, and easy UK parts/support access.

The Hydro-Gear ZT-2200 transmission ensures responsive, smooth zero-turn manoeuvrability with forward speeds up to 7.7 mph—perfect for maintaining larger gardens. (Not designed for thick overgrowth or rough terrain.)

The 42-inch (107 cm) stamped steel cutting deck provides a clean, even cut with side discharge and built-in wash ports—simply attach a hose to rinse off debris quickly, no manual scrubbing needed. Adjustable heights (38–114 mm) via easy controls, plus anti-scalp features for contoured lawns.

Comfort is built-in with an ergonomic seat featuring armrests, good cushioning, and adjustments for extended sessions. An Agura electromagnetic clutch adds reliable engagement, while extras like an hour meter, quick-drain oil port, and easy-access servicing make ownership hassle-free.
