Narwal Freo X10 Pro Robot Vacuum & Mop

8,000Pa Powerful Suction | 8N Mopping Pressure | 180-Day Self-Emptying | Intelligent Navigation

The Narwal Freo S is designed to make everyday floor cleaning easier without the complexity or price of Narwal’s flagship models. It combines 8,000Pa suction, 8N mopping pressure, intelligent laser navigation, obstacle avoidance and a 3.5L self-emptying dust bag designed for up to 180 days of hands-free dust collection under Narwal’s stated conditions. 

It is particularly suited to households looking for a practical robot vacuum that can handle regular dust, hair, crumbs and everyday floor maintenance while requiring minimal attention.

Why Narwal Freo S Is Different

The Freo S focuses on the features that matter most for everyday automated cleaning:

• 8,000Pa suction for daily dirt, dust, crumbs and hair
• 8N mopping pressure for routine floor wiping
• DirtSense™ intelligent cleaning
• Carpet Boost for carpeted areas
• Laser navigation and obstacle avoidance
• 3.5L automatic dust collection
• Up to 180 days of dust storage
• 3,200mAh battery
• App and voice control
• Compact charging/self-emptying station

Narwal positions Freo S as an all-in-one vacuum, mop and self-emptying system, making it a straightforward option for customers who want automation without moving into the more expensive Freo Z or Flow models.

8,000Pa Powerful Suction

At the heart of the Freo S is an 8,000Pa suction system designed to collect everyday household debris.

It can help remove:

• Dust
• Crumbs
• Food particles
• Pet hair
• Human hair
• Fine dirt
• Debris from hard floors
• Dirt from carpets

The Freo S also includes Carpet Boost, allowing it to increase cleaning performance when working on carpet.

Why this matters

Instead of needing to vacuum every day yourself, Freo S can be scheduled to routinely remove the debris that accumulates between deeper cleans.

This is particularly useful for:

• Apartments
• Smaller homes
• Families
• Homes with hard floors
• Low-pile carpet
• Everyday pet-hair maintenance

8N High-Performance Mopping

The Freo S uses a flat mop system with up to 8N of mopping pressure.

That pressure helps the mop maintain contact with the floor rather than simply gliding lightly across the surface.

It is designed for everyday cleaning of:

• Tiles
• Timber-style hard floors
• Vinyl
• Laminate
• Other suitable sealed hard flooring

DirtSense™ Intelligent Cleaning

Narwal’s DirtSense™ technology is designed to help the robot recognise floor cleanliness and adjust its cleaning behaviour.

This means the Freo S isn’t simply following a completely fixed cleaning routine.

It can use its cleaning intelligence to help determine where additional attention is required.

The benefit

High-traffic areas such as:

• Kitchens
• Hallways
• Dining areas
• Entryways
• Around tables

can accumulate more dirt than quieter areas of the home.

Intelligent cleaning helps the robot concentrate its cleaning where it is needed.

Narwal specifically describes the Freo S as being designed around DirtSense repeat mopping.

180-Day Self-Emptying

One of the biggest advantages of the Freo S is its 3.5L self-emptying dust bag.

After cleaning, the robot automatically returns to the station and transfers collected dust and debris into the larger dust bag.

Narwal rates the system for up to 180 days of hands-free dust storage under its stated conditions.

Instead of:

Vacuum → manually empty → vacuum → manually empty

Freo S:

Vacuum → return to station → automatically empty → ready for the next clean.

This is one of the strongest reasons to choose the Freo S over a basic robot vacuum.

Designed for Low-Maintenance Cleaning

The Freo S is built around the idea that the robot should handle as much of the routine cleaning process as possible.

Its station provides:

• Automatic dust emptying
• Robot charging
• Dust storage
• A compact home for the robot

Narwal describes it as a maintenance-free station, with the main headline benefit being its long-duration automatic dust storage.

The mop itself still requires appropriate manual care, so this should not be marketed as having the same fully automated mop washing system as the Narwal Flow.

Laser Navigation

The Freo S uses laser-based navigation to map the home and plan its cleaning routes.

This allows it to understand the layout of rooms and systematically move through the available areas rather than randomly travelling around the house.

The system can be used with the Narwal app to organise cleaning and manage areas of the home.

Obstacle Avoidance

Freo S combines laser navigation with obstacle-avoidance technology to help it navigate around everyday objects.

This helps reduce unnecessary collisions with:

• Furniture
• Tables
• Chairs
• Household objects
• Other obstacles

Narwal’s identifies the Freo S as using laser obstacle avoidance plus line laser.

Carpet Boost

When Freo S encounters carpet, Carpet Boost increases the vacuum’s cleaning power to help collect dirt from carpet fibres.

This is particularly useful for:

• Bedroom carpets
• Rugs
• Hallways
• Low-pile carpet
• Pet-hair areas

The Freo S therefore isn’t restricted to hard floors; it can combine vacuuming across carpet with mopping on suitable hard-floor surfaces.

Tangle-Reduction Design

Hair can quickly become one of the most annoying maintenance tasks with robot vacuums.

The Freo S uses a side-brush and roller-brush tangle-reduction system to help manage hair during cleaning.

This is useful for households with:

• Long hair
• Children
• Dogs
• Cats
• Multiple occupants

Regular maintenance of the brush and other consumable components is still recommended.

Compact Design

The Australian Freo S robot measures approximately:

330 × 330 × 100mm

and weighs approximately 3.2kg ±100g.

Its compact dimensions make it suitable for homes where space is limited.

It can help clean:

• Under furniture
• Around beds
• Around sofas
• Beneath tables
• Along open floor areas

The charging/self-emptying station itself measures approximately:

330 × 228 × 162mm.

Smart App Control

The Freo S can be managed through the Narwal app.

You can use the app to control cleaning and organise your robot’s operation rather than manually starting it every time.

It also supports third-party voice control through:

• Siri
• Alexa
• Google Assistant

This makes it easy to integrate regular cleaning into a household routine.

3,200mAh Battery

The Australian Freo S uses a 3,200mAh battery.

The robot can return to its station to recharge as required, allowing automated cleaning without requiring you to manually supervise its battery level.

Important buying consideration

The Freo S is primarily designed for routine maintenance mopping, rather than the deep scrubbing system.

So if a customer needs aggressive cleaning of heavily dried-on kitchen stains, the Narwal Flow or Freo Z-series would be a different category of product.

For everyday dust, footprints and light floor residue, the Freo S provides a much simpler solution.

What Problems Does Narwal Freo S Solve?

1. Daily dust accumulation

Instead of manually vacuuming every day, Freo S can routinely collect dust and debris.

2. Pet hair and everyday hair

The 8,000Pa vacuum system and tangle-reduction brush design help manage regular hair accumulation.

3. Crumbs and food debris

Useful for dining rooms, kitchens and areas beneath tables where crumbs accumulate.

4. Carpet debris

Carpet Boost provides additional vacuuming power when cleaning carpet.

5. Regular floor maintenance

The 8N flat mop provides routine mopping for suitable hard floors.

6. Constantly emptying the robot

The 3.5L dust bag automatically collects debris from the robot, with Narwal advertising up to 180 days of storage under its stated conditions.

7. Manually navigating the robot

Laser mapping and obstacle avoidance allow the Freo S to navigate your home automatically.
